I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX 2DR Coupe which came with one of these new from the dealer. I love this trunk liner a lot. It is a bit on the soft side, but in no way 'flimsy' in my opinion. It's just hard enough to be good and durable, but still soft enough that you can easily bend and manipulate it to get to the spare tire or remove it for cleaning, etc. Whomever engineered this thing obviously gave it some considerable thought, and it shows...

It has saved the carpet in my trunk from total disaster twice now. Once when a bag of fertilizer broke open. The other time a bottle of bleach started leaking. Had it not been for the liner, I shudder to think what would have happened to the carpet :)

When looking at the picture the Honda Trunk Tray Liner looks rubbery and sturdy but it's really just rubbery and flimsy. I think this is a good item but was executed poorly.

Look at one of these in person before you make the commitment to buy it.

My husband and I bought this when we thought someone threw his away. It's the exact same kind you can get from the dealer but a little cheaper I think. We ended up finding his old one so I kept it for my accura.
